Hours of operation:

Monday - Friday (school open days): 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays extended hours: 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Saturdays: 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.

The La Crete Community Library is planning to publish a cookbook as a fundraiser. In order for us to accomplish this, we are asking our library patrons to submit favorite recipes. We will be pleased to accept as many as you would like to share.

The categories are listed on the recipe sheet, however we are adding these as well: Mennonite Dishes, Ethnic Foods, and Specialty Diets (gluten-free, diabetic, etc.) Please indicate which category your recipe belongs to on the “Other” line if your recipe is one whose category is not listed. Please use one recipe sheet per recipe. For longer recipes, continue the recipe onto the back side of the page. Please check your recipe for legibility and proper spelling, and that your ingredients and recipe directions, including all quantities and measurements, cooking times and temperatures, etc., are complete and correct.

In order for us to be able to offer our cookbook for purchase in the fall, we are asking that the recipes be submitted by June 15/2012. Recipes may be dropped off at the library or in our outside book drop.

We are very excited to be undertaking this project and hope that you will be able to assist us. Thank you for your generous support in sharing your recipes.

Cookbook Recipe Sheet is attached in PDF. Print copies, fill in with your favorite recipes (one recipe per page) and submit to the library.
